"I aim to create a space where clients feel safe exploring the parts of themselves that have been hidden or silenced. ”  ~J

Johnny works with adults, bringing a compassionate, affirming, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. He has experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and identity development. His work is grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection, honesty, and encouragement—and he brings his own diverse life experience to the therapeutic space with empathy and authenticity.

"My style is collaborative and affirming. I focus on building real connections with clients through empathy, cultural awareness, and a shared understanding of the challenges that come with being human. "

Johnny’s clinical foundation includes a range of training in trauma-informed care, CBT, mindfulness-based practices, and feminist therapy. He naturally gravitates toward person-centered work, helping clients build strong internal awareness and skills for emotional regulation, healing, and self-acceptance. He believes in creating intentional therapeutic relationships rooted in trust and mutual respect.

Johnny is especially passionate about serving the LGBTQ+ community and others who have experienced marginalization. He values multiculturalism and is committed to practicing with cultural humility and responsiveness. His work is informed by social justice values and a deep commitment to inclusion.
