"I provide a safe space for people to say what they need to say, how they need to say it in order to do the healing work." ~M

Michaela works with individuals ages 18 and up. She aims to show people with similar backgrounds that focusing on mental health is important and how the barriers that are created by trauma can be shifted.

"I would say my therapeutic style is Integrative or holistic. I don't believe there is one direct method of treatment for anyone. I pull from the training I have had and use them to address any goals my client has. Most importantly is the relationship developed in the therapeutic space. My approach is I am open about what I notice, I challenge as needed, but I am not judgmental. I believe I would not be doing my job if I didn't say anything about what may be "getting in the way".

I have a passion for tackling the "-isms" and the impact it has on society and the people in it. My racial trauma work allows me to be a part of the healing process for those who have and do experience racism.

Anti-racism work allows me to work with people who know the importance of being culturally aware and competent. I offer a space for non people of color to begin or continue to explore their racial identity in this diverse world. "
